To connect a smartphone or tablet, a wireless HDMI adapter is required; however, this adapter is not included in the package and must be purchased separately. For Android phones that support MHL, an MHL to HDMI cable is required. For iPhone and iPad, a Lightning to HDMI cable adapter is required.
